Town of Grand Bank
Work Description: The Town of Grand Bank is requesting quotes from qualified bidders to install a new
backup generator and transfer switch at the Grand Bank Fire Hall to provide sufficient
power for emergency operations during power outages.
Work Scope: Supply and/or installation of the following items:
Generator Electrical Panel
Circuit Breakers
Exterior Disconnect
Tech Cable
Individual Circuit Cables
Junction Boxes and Fittings
Transfer Switch (Town Supplied)
Generator (Town Supplied)
Re-routing of several existing electrical circuits to new backup power system
Tender Specifications:
Tender Quotes to show breakdown of labour, materials, and total cost with HST included.
Tender Quotes to also include any electrical work involved
Tender Quotes to include all applicable fees and permits
To arrange a Site Visit, please contact the Town of Grand Bank, allowing sufficient time to arrange
for the site visit and still prepare the tender document by the deadline below.
Company must provide Workers Compensation Certificate.
Company must provide proof of Insurance. – $1,000,000 Commercial General Liability (CGL)
Contractor to ensure installation and materials meet Service NL Requirements
Preference will be given to bidders that are certified Electricians
The Town of Grand Bank reserves the right to adjust specifications, to meet budget.
Deadline for submission of Tender Quote is: 12:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026.
Public Opening of Tender Quote is: 2:15 p.m., Friday May 1, 2026.
